De Roos (Dutch for The Rose) Centre is the largest centre for consciousness and spirituality in the Netherlands. The many activities available at this centre are designed to give meaning to, deepen and enrich the lives of the participants.

Because of its central and beautiful location on the PC Hooftstraat, adjacent to the Vondelpark, De Roos is the perfect place for your readings, courses, workshops or meetings. You can choose from a variety of rooms, both large and small, with a large assortment of resources.

On this website you will find a variety of lectures, courses, weekly classes like yoga and Pilates and consultations, from which you can choose (most are in Dutch but some are given in English.) Leaflets and information about all the activities can be found at the reception desk.

On the first floor of our Centre you will find de Roos Shop for spiritual books, CDs, gifts, incense, healing stones, candles, tarot and other cards, body care products, etc.

Feel free to have a cup of coffee or tea, after a walk in the Vondelpark or during the break of your workshop or meeting, in our Teahouse. You can choose from a menu of soup, salad, sandwiches as well as several delicious pies – traditional Dutch apple pie for example. Our terrace is open in the summer.

Silence is rare in our busy city and in our busy lives, with too much traffic, information and noise. It is often difficult to find silence in our own head and heart. A visit to our Quiet Room might help.

An Art exhibition is organized six times a year. The art is exhibited in the Teahouse and in the various corridors of the building. It can be visited during the opening hours of the centre.
